Today, under the leadership of a new partnership, ASR Materials continues to honor that legacy. We remain laser-focused on providing the highest quality products and the kind of personal, relationship-driven service that has become synonymous with the Abraham name throughout South Florida. Our team embodies the same resolve as our founder, tackling every challenge with the perseverance and dedication that built this company from the ground up.
As the company grew, so did its reputation. In 1995, they moved operations to their current location in Doral. The name “Abraham” quickly became synonymous with quality, integrity, and exceptional service throughout the South Florida construction industry.
The family commitment deepened in 1996 when Rolando Abraham Jr. joined his father and brother. The Abraham family was focused on genuine relationship building; customers and vendors weren’t just clients, they became friends. This personal touch and commitment to integrity cemented their place as a trusted leader.
Following decades of relentless dedication, Rolando Amado Abraham Sr. retired in 2014, leaving the company, rebranded as Abraham Sand and Rock, in the capable hands of his sons, Humberto and Rolando Jr. Though he remained involved until stepping back in 2016 due to health, the spirit of his original vision continued to drive the business forward.
In 2020, Humberto Abraham envisioned a bold new direction for the future. Drawing upon the extensive network and valuable relationships established over his career, he formed a powerful joint venture with Tony Gonzalez that shares the same values as the Abraham family. This partnership rebranded the company as ASR Materials, combining the strength of the past with a forward-looking strategy.
The transformation from a single truck operation in 1973 to a robust entity distributing building products across more than half of Florida is a powerful testament to the principles Rolando Sr. instilled.
We credit our enduring success first and foremost to our founder, ROLANDO AMADO ABRAHAM SR. He started against all odds, but his perseverance, dedication, and integrity prevailed.
